PTERODROMAS4FUTURE

Improving the conservation status of two Pterodroma petrels
endemic seabirds to the Madeira archipelago

PROJECT

LIFE Pterodromas4future

For about 40 years, the Pterodromas of the Madeira archipelago have been the target of conservation efforts, however threats to the continuity of the species are constant, mainly associated with man. Petrels populations remain on the verge of extinction! The implementation of new conservation measures and more efficient e  methodologies is extremely necessary!
